"We had a short stay to extend our week from another rental. It suited our purpose of having a place to put our heads at night. Cottage is well lived in with some repairs needed. Very animal friendly which was a bonus for us traveling with a dog. Most supplies available (no toaster). Shower only. Parking is located at nearby church and house is short walk down a path connected to lot. This is where we unloaded and carried our stuff to and from. "The house had all the conveniences of home. Within walking distance of the Tabernacle, Jigger Shop, Playhouse, tennis courts, the Hideaway & playground. Rails to Trails within 1 mile. The parking spot in back of the house is a bit tight but ok for a smaller car. I would recommend bringing bottled water."

The main bathroom is modern, the attic bedroom is well-insulated (great for kids), and the deck offers a nice lake view (though there’s no direct lake access). "The house was BEAUTIFUL. It had a well stocked kitchen and comfy living area, two big things for our group. The entire house was decorated beautifully. We wish we had time and appropriate weather to enjoy the porch. This is the perfect little cottage especially if you want a weekend away from city life. It is a short distance away from Blur Marsh Lake which has lots of good trails. "
