This is a ground floor apartment with it's own small hedged garden with Lemon tree and Hibiscus shrub. It is very comfortable, fully furnished with all the usual facilities including free WiFi, 2 air-con units, washing machine, microwave combi, gas hob, fridge, TV with satellite receiver, dvd player, ironing facilities, bedding, linen, towels etc. The bedroom has 2 single beds and there is a double sofa bed in the living room . The bathroom includes wash hand basin, toilet, and shower cubicle. There are dining table and chairs inside and also outside under covered area of front porch and finally there is a parking area just off the road in front of the apartment.
The apartment is on a flat wheelchair friendly complex with lots of open space which is beautifully looked after with lots of flowering trees and shrubs. There is an excellent restaurant on the complex and a small shop, lots of free facilities including 2 pools with life guards, children's play area, 2 tennis courts, 5/6 aside screened football pitch, fully equipped gym, landscaped gardens and a trail from the complex (no roads to cross) through a forest following about a 10 minute paved walkway to the beach where there are also life guards in attendance. There are free reclining sun loungers on the beach and at both pools with fresh water showers. The complex has a 24 hour security system in place plus a night security guard.
The complex is in an excellent location, 15 mins. from Lamezia airport, 15 mins. from the endearing town of Pizzo and about 10 mins from autostrada which has no toll fees in this part of Italy. There are countless places to explore in this part of Italy and a car is really essential as the bus service is pretty poor apart from a service put on from the complex to pizzo. Prior research of this area is recommended as there is something for everybody be it beaches, historic towns, hilltop villages, national parks, markets, and even dining in an Italian restaurant is a unique experience.
