“Charity is a gem. She is an expert communicator. Always fast. Always thorough. Our multi-generational family enjoyed this property a lot. The pool was the highlight and was used everyday! All day!! We were delighted to find the home stocked with a tea and coffee station. We made great use of that. The kitchen was well stocked. Probably could have used a large frying pan or griddle to make large breakfast for everyone. We made due. Each bedroom had fun decor and great linens. The showers were……

“Everything was fantastic and as detailed! We all had a blast!”

“Clean room, host is easy to communicate with, spacious rooms, AC is working properly, beddings are clean. The only thing that I think would make a guest stay more comfortably is if a sink would be at the dining/kitchen near the fridge and cooking area rather than going thru the bedroom all the way to the bathroom to wash dishes and utensils. A kitchen knife would also be a practical addition to the utensils. Also, the other bedroom is only accessed thru the shared bathroom and if locked by the……

“Thanks”

“Overall I had a wonderful stay... however I wish it was booked for a summertime day... the brand new pool looked very appealing & I wish I couldve enjoyed using it. Will have to try & stay again during the summer for a nice pool day!”

“We had an excellent stay! Everything was great from beginning to end. The place was very clean, well organized, and fully stocked with all the supplies we needed. Communication with the host was excellent very responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend this property to others. Thank you for such a wonderful experience”

“Excellent apartment, love it!! It’s very spacious with everything you may need. Location is fabulous and even a supermarket at the bottom. Definitely coming back to this place.”

“The Room was very clean, Made us feel at home. Had just about everything we needed but anything we didn’t have we were able to get with a quick trip to Walmart. It is on an intersection so it can be a little noisy at nights or in the early morning with cars driving by but my fiance really enjoyed his birthday stay here!”

“Everything was clean and in good working order .”

“The property was everything we expected and as shown on pictures, very clean, plenty of room to relax and stretch. There were plenty of games to play: miniature pool/fooseball/ping pong table; as well as video games. Great location if you're looking to stay for graduation.”

“Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC……

“Overall a great house for a large family. Plenty of bedrooms and private baths. We stayed with three couples ranging from early 40s to mid 70s and a few single people over 35 as well one teen. The only improvement I would suggest is putting more traditional seating in the house. The TV room, where my family tends to gather late at night, didn't have chairs. My parents can't sit on the floor, and I would suspect many older visiters would have similar challenges. We had to move chairs from……

“Stayed for three nights. Comfortable home, loved the back deck.”

“It was a very nice place to rest up for the night between travels!”

“Great spot for all downtown attractions. Place is super clean and has everything you need. Perfect for a couple looking to visit the area.”
