“Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.”

“The hosts came to greet us, even left some food in the refrigerator for us in case we arrived too late to go to the supermarket. The cabin is new, clean, well decorated, quiet environment. The only negative point is the water pressure in the shower. Would recommend to anyone going to the Isle of Skye.”

The scenery is fantastic, with a sweeping view of the sea across a beautiful pasture. The apartment was clean and well appointed with a fabulous farm style kitchen. Tracy was warm and engaging and made us feel very welcome. Overall fantastic experience! Note that we booked through Expedia and some of the details/price were incorrectly listed. “Our stay at Tides was very relaxing. Uig is not far from other towns but felt like we were secluded enough from the busier locations. We loved it! My niece and I loved sitting by the big windows, looking for Seals. Being that it was October, we didn’t spot many from the living room but we saw one. One evening we walked to a cute nearby hotel and had a few apéritifs. We would definitely go back if we were ever in Isle of Sky again!”
