“Excellent stay with a very warm, open and friendly staff. Also enjoyed the Dominican food. Overall, very beautiful space with view of both the ocean and mountain, and wonderful infinity pools.”

“Great place to stay in Portsmouth! Close to the beach and food. 10ish min drive to cabrits. ~30ish min to batibou beach & red rocks. Clean room and someone came to clean everyday. Typical dishes in the kitchen but could have more (scissors), super convenient tho! A restaurant owned by hotel right at the entrance & convenient. We did not try their breakfast though. Some noise from animals can be heard in the morning. We went during their renovations starting ~9ish am but wasn’t an issue for us……

“The rooms are beautiful! We loved the patio and the view. Gorgeous. The food on the first night was almost inedible: we sent back the mahi mahi (I think that's what it was) because it was so rock hard/overcooked that it wouldn't chew down. We then ordered the pizza: the dough was so soft and uncooked that we just ate the toppings. We then started simply eating away from the place. On our final night, though, they were doing a barbecue and it was absolutely fantastic. We wonder if we just had a……

“Great food. I’m a vegetarian and my husband is a semi meat eater. We were very pleased with the food variety offered. Let me say…we have been living in Dominica for two months…it’s been a challenge. We came to Rosalie Bay Resort primarily for hot water and reliable AC…we got both and much much more!!”

“The host was chill, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We paid for the shuttle service which was very convenient. The location is within walking distance from many great sites, including Trafalgar falls. I'd recommend staying for more than 1 night to really enjoy the area. The spa and natural pools in the river where perfectly refreshing. There is no bug net, but the fan did the trick and there weren't many biting bugs around anyway. I'd highly recommend the dinner! The portions are generous!”

“I booked a 10-day stay over Carnival (MasDomnik) at Pinnards Mountain Resort, and it was such a refreshing scenic escape. The mountain views and peaceful atmosphere truly gave that relaxing “getaway” vibe while still being close enough to enjoy the festivities. The shuttle service was a great option to take advantage of, making getting around much easier. The swimming pool was lovely and very well maintained, and the complimentary pool toys were such a thoughtful touch. The restaurant/bar is……

“I arrived in the town and a motorcyclist had been hit and was laying in the street motionless.. the entire town was standing around in the street. i had the place in my navigation and i could not even find it due to all the people blocking the driveways and streets. I also did not feel comfortable walking around looking for it. there was no sign that was visible from my car with all the people in the way. I ended up not staying there due to circumstances beyond my control. the property will……

“Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so……

“The quiet environment of Berkey's Jungle Paradise is outstanding. It was fantastic to relax in the hammock at the terrace. And the views from the accomodation is really stunning. If you like to walk many tourist facilities like the Trafalgar Falls and Wotten Waven are at relative short distance (30-40 minutes walk). Berkey is a very kind person willing to assist you at all times. So the place is higly recommended ”
