"Front desk staff were friendly and helpful at check in. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows held their fluff. The breakfast attendant was on top of things and was attentive to making sure food was filled at all times. The hot tub was very warm but the jets didn't work the best. Overall, it was a great stay. "My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We brought our paddle boards so being right on Lake Independence was great. The living space was very clean, had everything we needed (including a comfortable bed!), and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We also loved being about 35 minutes from Marquette - there is a wonderful Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings that we recommend going to. We also enjoyed hiking at Yellow Dog Falls and Dead River Falls (more advanced). We had a great trip and would stay here again! "
