"This is a very well-run establishment. Clean rooms with friendly staff. Enough space for two to get dressed up for an event at the same time. Breakfast offerings are spartan, but sufficient for a quick bite before a busy day."

"Hot tub was not working. The air conditioning unit wasn't working. Asked to switch rooms & there were no rooms with the air working. I asked the front desk if people are checking out in the morning & they had a room with the air working, if we could switch rooms. The next morning a new girl was at the front desk. When i explained about the switch room request, she had no idea what I was talking about. We got a fan for our room. Also I asked a housekeeper as we were leaving our room, how often do they clean the rooms, she said every day. So I assumed ste room would be cleaned that day. It wasn't. Do the next morning I went to the front desk & asked for a full service clean. When we came back to our room, it still didn't get cleaned. "

"Beautiful building! Clean rooms! Friendly staff! Everything I hoped for and then some. I really enjoyed learning about the history of the building and its former residents. Close to everything downtown and the ferry. Will stay again so we can see the other rooms!"

"Great hotel, staff is very kind and rooms are clean. Breakfast has a lot of choices compared to other hotels as well. Parking is safe. Complementary snacks and water was also great."

"They should promote the breakfast as a hot breakfast, not continental. It was far more than a continental breakfast and a good selection. We had a comfortable quiet room and the staff was very helpful. Only issue was a soft bed (which some will like) but it made sleeping a bit of a challenge. Great location for visiting the Hood Canal and areas on the eastern side of the Olympic Peninsula."
