“It was perfect for a very last-minute booking. The listing title “Upstate New York winery. Skiing. Casino. Fingerlake winery” is a bit misleading. Yes- wineries the casino and Finger Lakes are in the general area and this property is in a quiet little neighborhood less than 2 miles from Elmira College- perfect for parent drop-off weekend.The rental felt like it was a brand new renovation & a new listing. “Property was nothing like advertised. Its in a very sketchy and questionable area of Elmira when it comes to safety. The apartment is the only building on a one way street upstairs a very steep flight of steps that can be difficult for anyone to get up to. The apartment smelled of must and was very hot. There was no a/c except for one's in the bedroom window which werent even turned on and it was June. The sheets on the beds were stained and didnt not look clean. There were not enough...

“The room was tidy. The A/C did not work well. There was only 1 blower setting. When you come in late you have to ring for help to check in, which is fine, but the machines in the space blow heat and the room was sweltering It is in a good location to where we needed to be. This is a fine place to stop in an emergency. We just needed a place to put our heads. There were plenty or outlets and USB plugs”
