“Wonderful stay! Our room was beautiful - clean and cozy. I had a drink at the outside bar - it was lovely. Highly recommend staying here. It’s a hidden gem.”

“Unfortunately, we had the smallest room with the smallest bathroom (Margaret Room). Normally we don't complain but the experience did not start out well. The toilet seat was loose and it just got worse in the evening. We should have let management know right away but we didn't expect it to fall off. The bathroom sink is narrow and "sideways". “We were excited to visit the Avon Inn and it exceeded our expectations. It is a delightful hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big, with a comfortable bed and in room gas fireplace. The co-owner Jen was lovely to speak to and the history of the hotel is fascinating. Special shoutout to the awesome pool table in the lobby - it is an awesome statement piece and a great use of the space to socialize being right next to the restaurant. “Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc.”

“The inn is very pretty. Make sure to have all the instructions available before you arrive. We arrived late at night, nobody was at the front desk and cell phone reception was terrible so it took me a bit of time to find the room number and code to get in. Be ready to take stairs to get to your room. The room was beautiful and so clean. We never got to see any staff on site, but our short stay was very pleasant.”
