“Great stay for our bi-annual friends reunion! This place had everything - the lake was well-equipped with kayaks, mini kayaks for the kids, pedal boat, etc. With comfortable sleeping arrangements for everyone, and enough plates bowls cups and a big table to gather around. Grill, seating areas for reading or morning coffees, fire pit, hot tub. And of course the sauna! Everything worked great and was so comfortable for our stay. Great communication from our host - absolutely would recommend!!”

We also brought our dog and she had a lovely time.The space is clean, well-equipped, and cozy, and the host was very responsive before and during the stay. Highly recommend this stay!”

“Lovely location, lovely cabin, everything as described. Cabin is a little hard to spot dark (the first time going) but thats a very minor complaint on a lovely rental. ”

Also appreciated the tourist info and recommendations as supplied in the cabin. As we were new to the area, it saved us time. Property is well taken care of. ”

“We just came back from our weekend at the Woodpecker House what a wonderful home! It's beautiful - just like the pictures show. We enjoyed our weekend - the fire pit, hot tub, cool basement and surrounding areas. The kitchen & dining area were very nice - we used it the entire weekend. “The cabin was secluded and quiet, lovely location, and a beautiful sunroom. We were two adults and a baby, and a cat. It was clean and well stocked with linens and utensils. Our baby did well as it was kid friendly. Small but compact and everything was in good working order. WiFi was good. It was close to Mine Kill State Park. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing we would suggest is removing the trophy animals (three deer heads and a turkey). Not everyone is comfortable with such……
