“We like to support small businesses and during travel we often stay at houses like the Wiltwyck. We enjoy sending good reviews but in this situation we can not and want to alert fellow travelers what we experienced. We were so disappointed in the accommodations that we left a night early. First impressions do matter. The front of the house was untidy with overgrown bushes and weeds. We appreciate that parking was free but the parking area is very tight and the driveway narrow and steep. I’m……

“Plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Bob is a perfect gentleman.”

“Unique place to stay. We had the smallest room I think I’ve ever stayed in with one chair and a window air conditioner. But it’s old so it is what it is. Loved the tavern in the evening. Friendly kind staff throughout ! Convenient location to everything! Breakfast was served down the block which wasn’t convenient and it was just ok. Don’t think I’ll stay here again but I’m glad I had the experience.”

“The cabin is awesome. Surrounded by forrest you feel like youre the only person in the world. What's even cooler is its off grid but you dont miss a thing. Lights. Music. Bathroom. There were even a couple board games. Outside fire ready to go. Exactly what I was looking for.”

“It was not explained up front that you need to check in and get the key at the Beekman hotel about a half mile away but it all worked out.”

“Room is clean ,gym is good , breakfast fried egg too salty ,water fountain water was too chemical taste.”

“The hose is really cute and decorated well, however we were put off by the smell of the water. My family refused to even wash with it. We had to go to the store for bottled water and shower at a friend's house. Also the bedding needed to be laundered. I emailed the owner about these problems and did not hear back.”
