"Lady who checked us in was really helpful, nothing was too much trouble even though she was really busy. Restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. There was a long gap between our starter and getting our main meal which was the only downside. We had to ask for the child’s meal to be brought as it was getting quite late. Food was hot and tasty when it was eventually served. Booking a slot in the pool was easy. Our room was clean, well stocked with toiletries, tea and coffee and the beds were very comfy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again. "

"Me and my son came to stay here for 3 nights and it was lovely. I honestly cant explain it all in detail, i'd be typing all night. We felt at home, we both slept straight through the night all 3 nights, the grounds were beautiful....i hope to get married there one day. All the staff that i interacted with were friendly and helful too. I'm definatly planning to make that a regular place to visit. If you need somewhere to go for a reset, I'd highly recommend staying here"

"Great stay at The Village, in the area visiting relatives and the hotel was perfect. Traveled from U.S and we were very tired after a long trip. Check in was super easy and friendly, shout out to Kieran who made it quick and simple. Breakfast was good, staff helpful and bed comfortable. Will be back when in the area again"

"We had a good stay at the hotel. We had a twin room as I left it late to book up somewhere for the Guns n Roses concert. The room was clean and tidy with an en-suite which was also clean and tidy. We were only using the room for somewhere to sleep after the concert so the fact we had a small room (we knew this as we booked the small twin) was fine with us. It was great value - we spent a third of the price of a room in the city centre - and this hotel was just as close to Villa park. We used the bar facilities downstairs, and they were clean and tidy, and a round of drinks was pleasingly cheap. When we chose to do the ground an Uber cost us £8. We decided to walk back (around 2.5 miles) and this was fine for us. It’s a basic hotel room - but was great value for money. I also found out that it is under new management- so this seems to be working well as we were happy and would come back again. Also the staff we encountered were really nice and helpful - which always helps."

"Lovely welcome from reception, easy free parking .Added bonus of swimming and spa pool,again with super friendly and helpful staff , offer of fresh fruit after swim which was a nice touch . Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice."

"Our weekend stay was very good. The staff are very attentive and couldn’t do more for you. The sports facilities , swimming pool, gym, sauna, hot tub and steam room are all in excellent order and well maintained. Dining is exceptional whether it’s Breakfast or Evening Dinner. A really great place to relax in very historic surroundings."
