“Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Belmont. We would ask for a bigger bathroom next time. You could hardly brush your teeth in the sink due to the cabinet above. Bedroom was fine although there was no fridge or mini bar unless you requested one, no bath robes ( a lot of hotels do have these now) Quite upmarket hotel, dining was good with some lovely meals, but don't order the crab salad starter which was a total joke due to how tiny it was. “The B and b was gorgeous, such a lovely old building and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. My partner and I both loved the character of the building. The tearoom was a bonus and we both said that that was the best cream tea we had ever had. Sitting outside in the garden was just heavenly. The location was great too and with a frequent bus service into Sidmouth and Exeter it was just perfect. We have both said that we will definitely stay there again.”
