“Parking safe , only problem is a tight corner to get out onto side road. My room was interesting,no walls straight and the floor was lop sided but very comfy. Good selection for breakfast ”

“The location was great for our purposes and the parking was good. Breakfasts were excellent, there was a nice patio and garden out the back. Well-run family B&B. The principal negatives were the noise (our suite overlooked the main road) and the very spasmodic Wi-Fi. At this price point it was disappointing.”

“Fabulous location on the edge of Sidmouth and easy walk to Byes. Property quaint but a little dated. Ideally would have new bathroom more outside space and less clutter. Didn’t see hosts but lovely welcome pack and lots of useful notes/ info on house and area. Would definitely stay again.”

“Dit hotel is natuurlijk prachtig historisch, maar wij vonden de prijs-kwaliteit niet goed. Erg duur voor de kwaliteit van bijvoorbeeld onze badkamer. Deze was te vergelijken met een badkamer in een oude stacaravan. De kamer zelf was wel mooi, klein maar fijn. Ontbijt was goed, maar voor bijna 500 euro voor 3 nachten verwacht je net wat meer.”

“I had a lovely room, I was surprised breakfast wasn’t included/offered. Staff were friendly but I couldn’t get internet which may have been just me. I was on my own and wanted to plan my next day, couldn’t even get 4G. Not even in the bar. Young lady said it was a bad area??!! Plenty parking and lots of people eating so food must be good. I just had (a very small) portion of chips. ”
