“The property was good! Right by the Colorado river; nice if you want to sit and read outside. The only commentary I have is that the place has one window a/c unit, so it takes a while to cool down if the door is opened and closed a lot.”

“This was a lovely property and Kim and her family were wonderful. My husband almost drowned and had to be hospitalized in Glenwood Springs and Kim’s daughter Tiffany and her husband visited him twice and took him flowers and goodies from Starbucks. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the alpaca ranch to everyone! Thanks again”

“Location In town was good but will most likely not stay again. Very minimal amenities that most places have. I have lived in the valley 20 years and never had a house with so many spiders and earwigs inside. 3 nights and was in the house mainly for just sleeping and saw over 9 spiders not a fan. Couldn’t get anything to load with WiFi and had absolute zero service in town. So had to wait til I got home to write review. Usually places we stay have more detailed check out instructions and house……

“Had a great weekend stay!!!”

“Perfect base camp, or just a quiet getaway”

“The experience of this property is absolutely amazing! The hosts who run the farm are kind and great to work with. The alpacas really turn it into a fun and memorable experience as opposed to just another place to stay. The house was wonderful, clean, and overall great to stay in.”

“The listing said it had lots of things. Grill, kitchen, utensils. I expected to cook for my wife and have a romantic dinner. There was just a bed room and bathroom. Very small. I did see a grill at a different cottage. I didn't go there to be in other people's space. It was not a good experience for us.”

“The space was lovely! The river was beautiful, the porch was nice. And we really enjoyed seeing all the animals on the property! There were minor cleaning issues but nothing major. I highly recommend bringing your own filtered water! The tap water taste was quite unpleasant so we ended up running to Maverick to get filtered water.”

“Nice change of pace The alpaca’s are sweet They come up to you The host leaves food so you can feed them Nice touch We planned our route home - back to Las Vegas to stay here. Glad we did”

“Instead of booking a typical hotel, I stumbled on the Ore House Inn in my search. It was the most affordable & sounded great. Although there is no onsite office that I knew of, the phone communication with the owners was responsive. Each room has its own theme. We got the Game of Thrones room & it was really cool how much work was put into it. We only stayed 1 night and wish we could have spent more time there. The only minor nuisance that has been mentioned was the bathroom being separate, but……

“Really cute home hot tub is amazing!”
