“A really nice backpackers hostel. The rooms were well put together and warm during the winter. Lots of space in the kitchen and lounge and bathrooms are being renovated. Staff were really helpful and hospitable - I'd stay here again, for sure. One of the most comfortable places I have stayed on my trip through NZ.”

“An amazing place to stay! Friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They had thought of everything to make our stay truly special, from the little details in our room to the warm hospitality throughout. Our room was incredible – sea views, spacious, beautifully presented, and so comfortable. Having our own chef who cooked delicious meals for us was such a treat, and the food was outstanding.
