"basic but okay for the price. stayed for 3 nights 2nd day after skiing came back to find our items had been moved around. it appeared our clothing in the wardrobe had moved. both passports where in my husbands jeans on a shelf in the wardrobe came back the room my passport was on the desk and my husbands was underneath the wardrobe right at the back - really dont know what went on in our room. on leaving - hotel tried to make out we hadnt paid! saying hotels.com paid on departure. still didnt...

"You totally get what you pay for, its a budget, dated, and basic hotel. For us it was just a base and somewhere to sleep, which worked. Its unlikely i'll stay there again as would prefer a little more modern and luxury but compared to nearly hotels Rila £2600, Iglika £2500, Savakov £700 you get what you pay for so can't really complain. "5 stars all around. Nick our property host was fantastic. The castle exceeded our expectations on size and value for money. Not to mention the jacuzzi that was almost as tall as me 🙄😅. The property was cleaned throughout, perfect temperatures and the company provided with plenty of information for surrounding areas and transportation as we had no car. Would 100% recommend. " Honestly, it's not the most modern hotel. There's no mini-fridge in the room, and the TV isn't the latest model. But the rooms are large and very spacious, clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff was courteous, and the breakfast was reasonable. The price was attractive and, in my opinion, worth the money. For those who are intimidated by a luxurious hotel, this may not be the first choice, but for those who want a nice place on a reasonable budget, this is definitely a reasonable option."

"Great food. Shuttle bus is a joke. It takes 8 people every 15 mins but the staff allow more than 8 to sign up, so when the bus does arrive (often late), it’s a free-for-all regarding who gets on. Take earplugs. All rooms have noisy doors and all night you’ll hear banging as people come and go. It’s a bargain. Get what you pay for. "
