Amanda came to the rescue and was able to transfer us to another property right on the ocean in the heart of Bar Harbor, essentially saving our vacation. I will just say that the new property was so nice, it was a step down when we finally returned home after the vacation. Amanda rocks!!!”

“Place was perfect”

“The property in Surry was just perfect for our use. The property is one of 3 manufactured homes on this property. The rental was clean, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. It is located on a quiet road and very drivable to many sightseeing attractions in the immediate area, Acadia NP being one of them. The AC came in handy during our stay as the weather was warm. The basic kitchen was good for us as we ate out every night. The washer and dryer were a good perk also. Overall a very good……

“We enjoyed our week at this well appointed cabin with a beautiful lake view from the comfortable deck. The kitchen and living space made preparing meals and relaxing a pleasure. Convenient to Acadia National Park and other parts of Mt. Desert Island, this is a good spot for a rejuvenating vacation in nature, but close enough to all amenities and services, including an easy ride to Bar Harbor.”

“This cozy cabin is exactly as pictured and described. While we no longer have young children, it would be wonderful place to stay if you did. Additionally, it feels isolated in the woods, and yet you are only 10-15 minutes from Bar Harbor, carriage trails, and all the other attractions! We loved, loved, loved this cabin, and we hope to return next year despite the 18 hour drive to get to it! ”

“This was a wonderful place to stay, felt just like a summer camp! Cute cabin with a beautiful pond next to it for swimming/fishing/kayaking, etc. About 45 minutes from Acadia National Park, depending on what trail you're headed to.”

“This cabin is really just part of a group of cabins near Bar Harbor. The difference between this and the ones you can book on like Expedia is that this has a hot tub. It's very cozy, and the inside of the cottage is super cute. However, two things stuck out that really soured the experience for us. Firstly, we heard nothing about how we were supposed to check in leading up to our stay. We ended up just going to the office, which makes sense, but it gave us some anxiety around if we actually had……

“Our family has such a great time staying in this cottage. It was so clean, plenty of room for our family of 5, well stocked with wood for camp fire, etc. It is perfectly quiet, and you are on a short road, off a cup-de-sac - so I never felt isolated (which I don’t enjoy!). But don’t worry about noise from others - we never even heard/saw another car drive by. I would absolutely stay here again! ”

“If you’re looking for rustic, romantic, relaxing —— this place is perfect! We were very comfortable and enjoyed this place immensely. It’s not pristine and the bed could be better, but it was a reasonable tradeoff for a wonderful view, great fireplace, cozy furnishings, and total privacy.”
