"Check in was a nightmare. Key machine did not work and it took over an hour to get in to a room where the key only worked once. After finally getting in I was assigned a different room as we couldn’t get the key to work."

"I could not have asked for a better hotel and room for my stay in Portland. This is now my second stay in a Cambria property and this stay was even better than my previous 5 star stay. Great location, walk to everything, the best restaurants, Old Town, the waterfront. The room was immaculate, spacious, new and ultra comfortable. If you haven’t tried a Cambria Hotel yet, this is the one to start with. Thank you!"

"We thought the breakfast was a free continental! Though It was still good ! The in diner was very good, but with the complimentary appetizers didn’t have any choice but the dumplings! Those were nasty and out side was a little to cook! Other than our stay we had a great time! The pool was great! "

"We visited in the off season and the staff still treated us as if we visited in the middle of their busiest season. They noticed that we were staying for a few days and called to offer us a first floor room (we declined). Our room was Beautiful! Very spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel itself was super easy to find and super close to everything both in town and out (Acadia National Park). There was a super yummy grab and go breakfast that was a nice surprise. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area for both where to eat/drink and where to explore in the National Park. We will definitely be staying here when we return to Bar Harbor."

"Exceptionally friendly service at the check in desk…we were permitted to get our room before 3 PM! An 8AM cardiology appointment for one and an overnight sleep lab study for the other made for a long day for us. The breakfast is also worth mentioning: Eggs, sausage, ham, yogurt, fresh fruits & juices, and much more. "
