“Most important to me in a rental are comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. My Happy Place provided all three (except for 4th bedroom with child size beds with droopy mattresses which fortunately we didn’t need). Lots of bath towels. Plenty of hot water. Kitchen had everything we needed but could use more kitchen towels (we brought our own after annother reviewer mentioned this). “We stayed from May 19th, 2024 to May 25th, 2024. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. We did not feel that pictures did the place justice!! The cottage is clean and well decorated. The screened in porch area was great for everyone to just hang out and visit. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is bigger than we expected. Now the absolute best part of this rental is the hosts!! We have stayed in several VRBO rentals and this was the first time we have ever had a face to face contact……

“This spot is located on the bay side of the island, but it's only a 15 minute walk to the beach via public access routes. We had no problem walking the dog and carrying our stuff. Also, the space is pet friendly. There's a small fenced-in yard to let the dog run around. There's also a dock and kayaks on site if you want to paddle around. To be fair, this is not a luxury apartment, but you're also not paying luxury apartment prices. If it's just the two of you and maybe a dog, and all you want……
