“This cottage is located about 2.kms from the downtown area. An easy walk, or drive if the weather is bad. There are a couple of convenience stores in the immediate area as well as a small cafe. The cottage itself is comfortable, a big space to stay in. The kitchen is adequately equipped for a few nights stay. There is a washer but no dryer (an outdoor drying tree is attached to the garage. Close to Marine Parade for walks along the oceanfront. It's an older property but well maintained.……

“Beds were shockingly uncomfortable, my guess is very old. How you provide bedding like that in accommodation is beyond me.No seperate toilet and the bathroom was very dated, clean but run down. Yard was unkept, grass long, weeds growing out of cement. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a bit warm on the first floor. The facility is well-maintained, and it was indeed very spacious, comfortably accommodating 10 people at a time. The host was very helpful and welcoming, with prompt correspondence. I would definitely recommend this property for a large family seeking a holiday destination in Hawkes Bay.”
