We chose this hotel for its proximity to Patong Beach and nearby attractions. While the location is convenient, this was the least preferred of the four hotels we stayed at during our three-week trip in Thailand. Although marketed as a resort, it lacked many features we expected. There is no spa, and many common areas were frequently closed for private events. Most indoor common areas also lacked air conditioning, which made the heat uncomfortable during the day. The pool areas had very little shade, making it difficult to spend extended time outside. Our swim-up room had chairs instead of loungers, which wasn’t ideal for relaxing. Housekeeping was daily but often not thorough. We frequently had to request washcloths and toilet paper, and noticed issues like debris remaining on floors, hair left on the toilet seat, and an empty conditioner bottle left in the shower. Service was inconsistent, particularly at breakfast and dinner. Breakfast had a large selection but was expensive for Thailand. The airport “shuttle” was simply a taxi arranged at a higher price than Grab.
