“Dear Management / Guest Relations Team, I am writing to formally log a serious complaint and request a full refund regarding my two-night stay in Room 624 at the Hampton by Hilton Rochdale (October 15 to October 17, 2026). I paid a total of £163 for the room, plus additional parking charges of £5 per day. Having completed 12 days of hard work, I booked this stay specifically looking for a peaceful environment to rest and sleep. Instead, the accommodation and service experienced fell……

“各方面都很好，早餐特別好。只是，房務人員把我自己帶來的毛巾丟了，這部分很困擾。”

“We had a lovely stay. The hotel is modern, clean and well presented, and the restaurant, bar and breakfast teams were absolutely fantastic — friendly, welcoming and a real credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, our check-in experience was disappointing. Despite booking a luxury double room, we were initially allocated an accessible room. When we queried this and showed our booking confirmation, which clearly confirmed the room we had reserved, both reception staff and the manager suggested the……

“Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear……

“Great stay the hotel has an excellent atmosphere. Staff weee extremely helpful and always happy to assist where they could. Food in the restaurant at night was superb as was the full emglybreakfast. Rooms are small but functional but clean and all that you need. Bed was comfortable shower was great.”

“Staff were lovely, big car park. Bed was okay. Everything in the room seemed to be very low.. The sink, the door handle.. All felt like I had to bend down to use. Very weird to have no plugs by the bedside, and only on the other side of the room, which was odd given it's all been recently refurbished. Good location, and I'd stay again.”

“So far everything nice in Grains Bar Hotel. Just light so dark ”

“酒店陳舊，內裏設施非常破爛，地氈感覺不清潔，房間隔音亦很差，酒店外面環境複雜”

“Friendly staff. Good food and bar service. Did not use pool and gym services. What was not up to par was condition of property. Black mold and a leak in corner of lounge area. Room very strange door on bathroom and worn furnishings.”

“Lovely old building with original 17th century fireplace. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. Rooms were clean although basic.”

“nice staff and very helpful, good breakfast provided, good experience. Not many options to choose for meal near the hotel.”
