"A really nice, new, well appointed apartment in a lovely quiet spot in the middle of the huge wine growing area around the Douro. The check in was a little confusing as the owner had to open the secure double gates. Once we'd accessed the accommodation this was fine as we had a key to open these. The owner didn't speak English but we had a phone tour from her daughter which was great. The property is accessed down a narrow road for 2kms so is remote from local shops and restaurants. The...
