"The small hotel is in Marampata, Peru, close to Choquequirao. Everything that gets to Marampata comes on a human's or mule's back on a brutally long day of hiking. The fact that the hotel exists there is amazing in itself. No idea how the mattresses got there. My son and I stayed 2 nights on a recent hiking trip to Choque. "The entire stay was excellent. The host Carlos, at the front was incredible. He was so helpful. Besides checking us in quickly, he gave us helpful tips on things to do, history information, and even walked my family twice to two incredible restaurants. Over the top a great guy. As a matter of fact, the entire staff was wonderful. The ladies working in the kitchen, the maids were all wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel!!!"
