“We did not have a good experience here. To start we were double charged for our room (unfortunately almost everyone in our group was). Our room was not very clean, we noticed the floor was wet when we first came up and we chalked it up to the room just being cleaned but the next morning the floor was still wet and then we were done the entire day and came back and the floor was still wet. It was like humidity or something in the room and honestly you could smell it. I went down to get a new room……

“Quiet, clean, friendly ownership, reasonably priced. Just need a TV guide, the cable is slow, and no way to determine what channels are available. Front desk is also unable to help.”

“I'm not sure how this property got 8 stars, it is more like a 6 or 7 star hotel. Things like a/c, elevator, treadmill were not well-maintained. The room was clean, bedding smelled slightly like potato chips or some kind of fried food. Gym equipment was rusted and having issues due to high humidity and no adequate drying by a/c in gym room. Staff were very helpful during out late check-in.”

“The bedding was dirty, the facilities didn’t work, the place smelled of must and mold. There weren’t enough towels for the amount of guests. The a/c unit outside of our room as leaking water into the carpet and made a mold trap. The furniture in the room was dirty. Not all the plugs and lights worked. The commode didn’t flush properly. There weren’t enough towels stain on the walls and ceiling.”

“I did not like the fact that I could not get a refund or even a partial refund. We were coming from the Tulsa, Ok. area but, could not make it due to circumstances beyond our control out on the road that put us way behind ( weather, primarily TWO wrecks that brought traffic to a standstill for long periods of time ).”

“This spacious cabin is SO CUTE and even prettier than the photos! Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed every stage of the day beneath the canopy of trees and on the wrap-around covered porch, and the night sky was amazing from the fire pit. Church Farm is an excellent location for a cozy weekend getaway or a small family gathering. Surrounded by trees, you feel secluded and alone, but grocery stores and restaurants are just 10 minutes away. The kitchen isn't……

“Comfortable, convenient, and well-managed stayI stayed at this townhouse twice in November and December 2025. The location is very convenient—about 10 minutes from the airport and major shopping areas, and roughly 15 minutes from the UAB campus. There are two designated parking spaces a few steps away from the front door, which helped me feel safe when coming and going after dark.The unit is in a quiet, refurbished townhouse community away from downtown, which made it a calm place to decompress……
