“Beautiful architecture from the 1920s when Parliament House opened in 1927. Restored to perfection. All the staff were migrants and all outstandingly polite friendly and helpful and I loved Pixel the Labrador the ex sniffer dog who lives with the General Manager I believe It’s an elegant statement of a bygone era and well managed. It’s a credit to everyone from front staff to the GM Well done”

“Good location but wouldn't stay again. Photos through Expedia must have been taken when the property was refurbished many years ago because the reality was a very tired hotel. Chips in the joinery, no exhaust fan extremely average small TV that was problematic to operate. Dirty carpet. No parking aside from pay-to-park council parking. Free overnight but limited to four hours between 8.30 and 5.30. No block out blinds. Terrible AC. Really noisy and a horrible screech from the water system...

“This was our second visit to this very nice hotel. Quiet, clean a d extremely comfortable close to Manuka oval, pubs, restaurants and Kingston foreshore dock.”

“I was assigned a room right next to the sliding door. I could hear the noise from the sliding door that opens and closes very often when people were coming in and out. I then asked for a room change. The new room was much better. However, when I checked out five days later, I was given a bill of $30 with a lunch charged to my old room. I remember that I never had that lunch. I only had breakfasts there.”

“It’s a 3 star not 4. Bare minimum in rooms Toilet was not clean”

“Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly just be aware of the parking, whilst the car park was easy to find you can’t access a spot unless you have a key and prepare to line up some cars as you will be stuck, unfortunately there are no available spots outside the hotel to go and pay $25 for a key, so you will need to park elsewhere until you can organise parking, not the most ideal when you are tired from travelling, also the parking isn’t accessible from the hotel itself. Also...

“Todo muy bien, muy cómoda y excelente vista, ubicación y ambiente”

“We were visiting numerous family members this was central to all of them. It was comfortable clean a reasonable size and reasonably priced and convenient parking. The only downside is it’s pet friendly so we had dogs barking at 3.50 am. If they put them at the other side of the premises it probably might help, all pet friendly apartments at one side and the people with no pets at the other end.”
