“The hotel was in a great part of Edinburgh making it easy to walk places. We loved how the building fit in with old Edinburgh. The breakfast was delicious. Being able to store our luggage between checkout and when we caught the train gave us an extra half day in town. We definitely recommend to anyone planning a stay in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland. ”
“Return visit like the area about 20-25 mins walk downhill to Whitby harbour area. Bus stop by school or Sainsburys minutes away.
Bedrooms clean and big for 2 people. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car parking free and if u forgot anything there is a sainsburys fee mins walk away
Breakfast has various choices to suit different appetite too and family friendly. Would return again”
“There will be free ticket for whitby abbey.
The building is nice and historical. Many facilities for guests to use. I like the drinking water the most.
A bit difficult to find the entrance and the 199 steps to hostel is without light at night. It is a bit dangerous if you back to hostel late at night as you can't see the steps.
The breakfast is very tasty and many different choices to choose.”
“Very close to Whitby swing bridge so handy for attractions, restaurants, coop 3 minute walk if want self catering. Newly renovated, very clean, lovely views.”
“We enjoyed a 3 night stay at The Wilson Arms. It’s a lovely little Restaurant/Pub/B&B. Tastefully decorated with modern touches although keeping some of the old charm. Everything was finished to a great standard and our room was very comfortable with comfy bed and good shower. It was an excellent base for exploring Whitby and the Yorkshire Moors. We used the P&R into Whitby which had, conveniently, just started running again for the Season
Breakfast provided a good choice of cereal and cooked……
“It's a stunning location right on the beach, and it's a short walk over the headland or round the bay, to Robin Hood's Bay.
Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room.
Super cafe bar. Relaxing seaside decor
It's a gem. ”
“Thoroughly enjoyed the stay we had in Whitby. Hotel is in an unmatched location, when we inevitable return in the future we will be placing the LilyRose hotel at the top of our list. ”
“A superb hotel, the views are phenomenal, staff are friendly and approachable. Lots of choice for food, buffet breakfast and an extensive menu for other meals. The room was clean and well stocked. ”
“Absolutely lovely stay, the bed was so comfortable and the suite smelt beautiful. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The Bath in our suite was such a gorgeous feature and so relaxing. We will definitely come back for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of the country ”
“The Cleanliness of this apartment was apalling stained dirty carpets, kettle was filthy hairs and dirt just about everywhere and cobwebs and spiders just about in every corner of each room couldn’t wait to leave I’m so pleased we had only booked one night.”
