I found a cockroach and another dead one. I message the host and received no response. There were also no coffee pods for the coffee machine but there was creamer. The pool was dirty when we arrived and had some sort of paper clogging the drain system. There were no towels for the kitchen. We ran out of toilet paper for one of the bathrooms. The door lock was difficult to operate.

This was a luxury hotel. The room was very nice with a king bed. It had a small workout room which I believe was open 24 hours. The top floor had a wonderful outdoor bar, pool, and seating/table area. The view was amazing from there. The neighborhood was very nice. It was a modern neighborhood with lots of high rise buildings. It was very close to the water and to the Oriente station which had everything you needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marmòris Palace. The property is beautiful, the grounds are peaceful, and it really lets you experience the castle and palace atmosphere that makes Sintra so special. It feels like you’re staying in a historic estate rather than a typical hotel. If you’re expecting a true luxury hotel, this probably isn’t it. The rooms and amenities are comfortable, but the experience is more about the charm, history, and setting than five-star luxury. The staff was wonderful, breakfast was great, and the location made it easy to explore Sintra. We’d definitely stay here again.
