There were 2 a/c units that kept us very comfortable. The stairs going up into the main part of the property are very steep with small steps, and we had to carry our big dog down them to get him outside. However, there are baby gates in the closet, and we could have gated the stairs to keep him on the lower……

“Quiet location along the Portage with a nice view and plenty of space for a family of 6 with a dog. Close to parks and charming downtown Hancock. About 15 minutes drive to Michigan Tech. Great access point to all things outdoors in the Keweenaw. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Enjoyed our summer stay and would definitely recommend. ”

“We stayed here for a week while visiting our son who is stationed in the coastguard nearby. The location was great for us. The house is secluded and quiet. You are surrounded by beautiful nature. Wasn’t sure how the solar situation would work, but found it didn’t affect anything at all. Very seamless. The house itself is very nice, bright ,modern and clean. Very high tech for us.
