“It started well with a very warm welcome on arrival and a hostess who had a good sense of humour which is always a bonus for me with my humour. She was friendly and showed where the room was rather than just giving directions... I was there for the one night and the room was very comfortable and has all you need in it and you could stay a couple of days comfortably. The breakfast in the morning although had to be paid for, was affordable and very nice. If I happen to be in the area again I would……

“Great location with on site free parking to get straight into Salisbury but also fabulous for visiting the beautiful Cathedral which our room had a view of as well as great included breakfast. No fans, hair dryer, iron or tv in the rooms but a kettle,ctea & coffee is. If out exploring, yhen this is a great base.”

“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. “I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had.
