“The Duke of York is a proper British local pub in a building that's a good few hundred years old.
The staff and the locals are friendly and welcoming and the food is great.
Dont get upset that there's no lift to the upper level or at the absence of Aircon.
Just go with the flow ”

“Gorgeous cottage with lots of character, low ceilings in areas but you soon learnt to dodge. All part of the character. Stair banister rail stunning character made from drift wood. All rooms on suite so no fighting over bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath downstairs.
The owners were very welcoming and full book with instructions on arrival. As well as lots of ideas of places to visit.
Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival and the added dry herbs etc in the kitchen added to the homely feel for the week.……
