“The house was lovely- clean, great ocean views, all the amenities you need! Kayaking from the property was wonderful, but you need to watch the tide charts- you have a 2 hour window before high tide and 2 hours after high tide otherwise it would be very difficult to get in or out! There are rocks you need to climb over to get the kayaks in and out, but that is not uncommon. The only downside is the noise from the road! We found that you need to shut the windows in the Master Bedroom at night……

“The home was nice and cozy. It met all our needs, had a well stocked kitchen, linens and laundry. The rooms and bedding were setup nice and clean. Each room has a portable AC so we had to turn that on once we arrived to let the place cool down and air circulate. The location was about 25 minutes drive from Bar Harbor and usually 20-25 minutes away from our daily activities, but it worked out for us just fine.”

In addition, the deck showcased morning activities in the harbor, as lobster boats were preparing to depart. Our dog Scout was very grateful for the thoughtfully-prepared pet welcome basket that was provided in our room. And the Inn went above and beyond expectations by providing normal services and amenities amidst a town-wide power outage created by a freakishly violent summer thunderstorm.”
