"A lovely property, David and pumpkin were very welcoming.
The only thing we wern't too keen on was the breakfast arrangment, we would have preferred a cooked breakfast.

"Our second visit to Little Robin Gate and it did not disappoint.
Such a warm welcome from David and Pumpkin. The accommodation is superb and immaculately clean. Opted for the jacuzzi room which was an excellent way to relax after a busy day. David thinks of everything and the little touches for dogs and humans alike we’re greatly appreciated. Communication throughout was friendly and informative.
Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Bournemouth with or without a fury friend. "

"We loved the quaint nature of this lodge, nestled in the golf course. You do have to be prepared to drive up a small hill and parking can be quite tight but it’s well worth it for such a spotless and modern room which provided a really comfortable stay. Very easy to check in and out and you get the option to use the spa and gym facilities as adults. A perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth but close enough to walk into town (it’s downhill so good...

"The whole property is crying out for renovations.
How does one run this place as a hotel one wanders and how does one promote and sell it to their customers is beyond belief. "

"Was a lovely simple property in the heart of Bournemouth, only a few minutes walk from the town or the beach. Self check in/out was seamless and they offered a decent self-service breakfast. Room was clean with plenty of amenities."

"Clean tidy and practical, lovely little indoor pool, games room could use an update but as it’s the summer holidays it is being used more frequently "
"Great hotel for solo traveller - room was compact but perfectly adequate and very clean. Single bed was comfortable. The fan was an added bonus. The pool was good and the outdoor pool next door a great addition. 10 - 15 minute walk
from the town centre. All for £65 - definitely recommended."
"We went for a family trip to Bournemouth we booked this hotel, and it was absolutely amazing. They gave us refurbished family room which was just perfect. My only comment is for breakfast timing is very short as I’m there to enjoy my time, also the food order for breakfast needs to be organised may be give Breakfast order form to your guests to choose what they want to eat, a lot of mistakes and confusion I have seen during my stay."
"Excellent Stay perfect for a relaxing seaside getaway.
The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay.
The room was spotless, and had a comfortable bed, it even had a decent size kettle for making hot drinks.
The breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a continental and full English options.
The location of this hotel is also perfect, a five minute walk to the town centre, the gardens and the pier
Highly recommended and we will stay again on our next visit"
"This is our second visit this year. Love the bed and having a balcony view our dog loves the hotel also.
Car park is really secure and after checking out we could leave our car for a bit extra charge to visit the beach.
Our meal was really good
Staff at the hotel are all excellent they make you feel special. Definitely going back

"Obviously an ex-Premierinn hotel, so all the comforts like the great beds. AC in the rooms and a great breakfast. Really good value for money and a short walk to the lovely beach!"
"We stayed in a spacious suite on the 2nd floor with beautiful sea views. Hotel has a great location, just a short walk to Bournemouth beach. Bed was super-comfy, pool area was well-maintained and we were pleasantly surprised with the food (having read mixed reviews). We would definitely return. "
"Amazing view from our room, having a fridge in a room was a bonus. Well maintained garden. Lovely swimming pool with heated water. Short distance to pier. Will definitely come back"
"The hotel was really nice and the staff were very helpful. We were able to check in early as our room was ready and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel after checking out so we could go round the town.
The room was very nice, although the fridge wasn't very cold and one of the mattresses was very soft, a bit like a water bed but I slept ok.
Breakfast was amazing! The choices and taste, the services was very good and we weren't rushed to eat our food.
We didn't use the pool, but I'm not sure I liked the fish bowl effect where people from outside can see you in the pool.
Overall a very good experience. "
"Wonderful Family Stay – Highly Recommend!
We had a fantastic two-night family break at the Cumberland Hotel. We booked a family room with a king-size bed and bunk beds, and used Tesco Clubcard points which was a great bonus.
We arrived just before check-in, easily found parking, and were warmly welcomed. Although our room wasn’t quite ready, we were invited to use the outdoor pool – a real treat on a sunny day! The pool was clean, well-staffed, and perfect for families.
Huge thanks to Ali and Sophia, who looked after us for the whole trip with big smiles and great service.
Our sea-view family room was spacious, spotless, and freshly decorated. The view from the balcony was stunning, and the in-room fridge was a brilliant touch for families. The bathroom was modern, though the shower pressure could be improved.
Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet was hot, fresh, and constantly topped up. Franck, (age 82 was a gem) who served us, was an absolute star – even warming pancakes for our girls!
The Friday night fireworks was amazing!
A great bonus: guests can use facilities at other Oceana hotels. We enjoyed both outdoor pools and even used the indoor pool next door.
Classic, friendly service like this is rare – every member of staff was lovely, a real credit to the team. We had a brilliant holiday and can’t wait to return!
"
"Great hotel, lovely staff. Hotel is located 1.5miles from the pier which is quite far for a walk however this is the only downside. There is a nice beach near the hotel. Room was nice and service was excellent. Thank you!"
"Had a very pleasant stay at Hotel 50. Mel was very accomodating and was greeted us on arrival and on departure. She was also very helpful in providing info of the local area. Very kindly provided a bottle of milk and bottles of water in the upstairs fridge.
Breakfast offered but did not take up the option.
Good location for Boscombe sea front and high street. 3/4 spaces for parking on front drive, had no issues getting a parking spot. Check in before 9pm, struggled a bit unlocking and locking the doors but Mel advised this was a common thing and was on hand to help. "
"I had a disappointing experience during my recent stay at this property. Despite my repeated attempts to obtain check-in instructions and communicate with the host, I was left without any guidance. As a result, i was forced to look for alternative accommodations, but due to the high season, everything was sold out!
I would strongly advise against risking a stay at this property unless you're prepared for the possibility of having to sleep in your car, as i did. The evening was completely ruined, and the frustration of not being able to find any available options, even at higher prices, spoiled our short getaway entirely.
Overall, I cannot recommend this property based on my experience."
