“The room was spotless and comfortable. The only thing that needs address (including for students that normally live there) is that there is absolutely no privacy on the higher floors. For some reason the lower floor rooms has the bottom half of the window with privacy glass but not higher up rooms meaning that rooms opposite can see right into each other unless the whole blind is pulled down! I walked into my room to see two guys making out in the building opposite, which isn’t even part of the……

“The property is situated in a beauriful remote area, and looks stunning from outside. The reception staff was very smart and helpful, and the room was beautiful. The gym is well equipped, however the sauna did not work and the steam room would benefit from an essential oil smell, rather than musty smell. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, my favourite being the handmade soda bread. Top quality food and perfect service. There are lovely walks around the place and the views are stunning, but……

“We loved the view from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We took a longer walk over the nearby bridge to see the beach and old fort. Breakfast was also really good, and we enjoyed eating in the restaurant with a view of the marina. We would love to go back again, and we would highly recommend to friends and family!”

“Absolutely amazing staff from the minute we walked into the hotel. No elevator and we had very heavy bags so they delivered them to our door. We had to check out an hour before breakfast so they made us a fresh breakfast at 7:30am. Went to their bar and very friendly bartenders. Offered excellent suggestions for going around town. Parking was on street and super convenient. Hotel was very clean and looked recently updated. Definitely 5 star for us!”

“Right in the middle of Kinsale but without the noise and crowds you would expect. The managers were helpful and proactive a lot time of check in. Fantastic coffee with an easy Nespresso machine plus refrigerator, spa-like towels, lots of outlets and a fan. Never met the owner/manager but spoke several times over the phone and felt we’ll taken care of”
