“Having your own cabin is really nice. The kitchen was cute. The bathroom could use some updating. The shower stall didn’t have a light which made it very dark. The room also needed a new bed. The one was really old, but still had some comfort. ”

“This is a great house. Actually, this is my second time renting this house. Close to everything, but still far enough away to just relax.”

“The place is really nice and clean. It has beautiful views and is very relaxing. There are cows grazing on the mountain right beside the property. It is perfect for two people. The fireplace and A/C worked well. The WiFi does not work. There is a larger house and this place is an apartment/cabin over the detached garage. All trash cans are stored inside the garage for the house and cabin. Upon arriving the trash cans smelled very bad. I could smell them when I stepped outside my car and could……

“My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at this cabin. We really loved our time at the cabin. It made us both want to move to Tennessee. It is secluded, yet close enough to Newport and Gatlinburg to be convenient for shopping and entertainment. We found a wonderful coffee shop nearby called “Our Place.” Overall, it was a wonderful day and I cannot wait to return.”

“We loved the property! It was perfect - welcoming the moment you unlocked the door. The hosts have provided comforts that you find in high end hotels - towels and bedding are amazing along with the goat milk toiletries (my favorite brand) Beautiful neighborhood and surroundings with roses and a water feature. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed.”

“We had a fantastic time! It is a green oasis in the city close to all attractions! We had a wonderful gas fireplace which came in handy since it got down to the 30’s during our stay. Great comfortable bed! The hosts were extremely attentive and we received sparkling wine and even a birthday cake!! We will be going back in the future !”

“We’ve stayed here before and love the proximity to fishing spots. This was the first time it wasn’t really clean, there was visible clumps of dust in just about every room. I didn’t reach out, since we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. But if you have allergies or asthma I’d be mindful of the current condition of the property.”

“We were only here for a short time and mainly just needed a place to sleep. The hot tub and location attracted us and was exactly what we needed during our stay. Location was perfect for getting downtown, and the hot tub was working and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and was very clean. The house is right next to a really great restaurant that we walked to for dinner and loved. Our only negative was that both beds were very uncomfortable and did not feel clean.……

“My communication with Carl and Terri prior to and during our stay always resulted in a prompt reply. The TV was tricky to operate, directions would have helped. “This property is a bird sanctuary! It was so peaceful and a perfect getaway. The cabin with hot tub was comfortable. We enjoyed reading on the front porch, cooking out on the grill, fire pit under the stars at night and most of all the sounds of birds chirping during sunrise. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We look forward to our next getaway to Asheville River Cabins! ”
