“We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table……

“Marco’s villa is beyond beautiful! Seeing it in person, it was absolutely stunning. The Mountain Views, the surrounding olive groves, the goats we could hear in the distance, the crow of the rooster; the flowers, lemon trees, and the rosemary that seemed to grow everywhere! There are truly no words to describe how beautiful this place is. The village of Buti is charming and totally off the beaten path. I am so glad we picked Marco’s place to stay at. “My family of six siblings thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Galeotti. Simone and Angela were excellent communicators and helped us with restaurant and wine tasting recommendations (and reservations). The walk into Camaiore was not too difficult and we enjoyed having coffee and pastries at Lorenzo Pasticceria & Caffè (if driving, you can access it from Via Bellosguardo, but if walking, it's a very busy road, so walk up Via Gugeliemo Oberdan and walk into the public parking lot and it's on your……

Matraia ist ein beschaulicher Ort und gleichzeitig gut für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen. Das Haus und der Garten sind liebevoll gestaltet und sehr großzügig.
