"This is the only spot in the area to stay, you are literally in the middle of nowhere. The Staff is wonderful and everything works. It is old and shows it, but they continue to do what they can to update it as things get busier in the region. There is only so much cleaning you can do on something that is older and not modernized. Given that this put me over an hour closer to where our fieldwork was, that is worth 5 Stars right there. It's old, and shows, it's dusty, because everything here is, again, this is the only place near McDermitt Caldera that gives quick access to it. Really appreciated the Staff and having all my basic needs taken care of."

Other staff very helpful when I ran into them. The pictures were a bit misleading as far as the condition but I have found that most are."
