“Walkable for us to many attractions although it would have been nice if some tourist information was included by the host. This could be provided from the Tourist Info booths. The room was not clean enough, much room for improvement there. Broken ornaments, sticky floor, torn material and squeaky stools. Appliances not cleaned properly. The bed was comfortable enough but the duvet was far too heavy. Carpet in the hallways leading to the room was very dirty. The dryer was grinding like crazy……

“I had such a lovely and relaxing stay in this charming cottage. It has a wonderful old-fashioned character and history while still having everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean and convenient, and I felt at home straight away. It was lovely to sit in the garden with my tea in the morning and a drink in the evening watching the bees and butterflies around the flowers. The location is quiet and peaceful, and only a few minutes’ walk along the esplanade to the bars,……

“Excellent spot for an extended stay or even a short one. Quiet and peaceful location with lots of privacy. Wickham square is minutes down the road by car with shops and pubs and and excellent pasty shop. Honestly, we didnt have a bad meal there. The property is well maintained and we really enjoyed our stay. The in floor heating kept everything comfortable and the bathroom had all the amenities. The kitchen is nicely equipped and we had enough storage and equipment for teas and basic……

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Booked expecting a fairly hassle free process to book only to be asked for a photo of my passport, bank card details, home address and more (ajority of which was NOT needed) Anyway arrived to find someone parked in my reserved space in what was essentially a public car park but not the end of the world, however once i stepped through the door thats where the problem came. “Cliffhanger is a stunning period home in a fabulous location in Cowes. Easy access to all the shops and restaurants in Cowes. Parking is restricted but at the time of year we visited (Sept) we had no issues. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable and the roof terrace has fabulous views. The kitchen is well equipped and there is no shortage of games etc in the lounge area if the weather closes in. Our host was charming and very helpful, going the extra mile for us when we had some last……
