We arrived after midnight and left very early the next day so didn’t have much experience of the facilities but the receptionist was very helpful, The only negative was that the central heating came on at 5 and the radiators needed bleeding so it sounded like someone was running a bath, Not an issue to us as we were leaving early and we did point it out so that they could put right for next guests. The hotel looked lovely though and we were sorry not to be able to take advantage of more of the facilities."

"The hotel is a good base for one night. We've used it many times. We rarely have dinner but we did this time and it wasn't very good, to be honest. The food wasn't very hot and they were very short-staffed so the waiting time was quite long. However when a member of staff asked us later on how the meal was, I just mentioned that it was so-so. She immediately offered the 4 of us a free dessert each which was quite unexpected. She must have been a supervisor to be able to authorise this. Well done!"
