“Great location, beautiful property. Hotel is located right on the edge of Lake Superior with plenty of areas to relax and walk. The on-site restaurant had a limited but good menu. They’re open from breakfast through dinner. Prices are average to average high. Great service and great tasting food. Good portion size. Overall, the rooms are ok. Our room was clean with comfy beds. The room could use some updating. Walls are a little thin. We would have no reservations about staying again. ……

“This is an older property, but it is well maintained and very clean. I would absolutely stay here again. I learned a previous manager used to serve coffee concentrate every morning, apparently thinking we are animals or that it's 1973. Luckily those days are over, loved the coffee and friendly staff. Don't miss a walk on the bridge sidewalk and the really nice bar just beside the hotel down the boardwalk, "Small Craft." ”

“The bathrooms could be updated as far as grout around tub etc. Otherwise great place to stay and reasonable in price. ”

“Good , convenient place to stay . Staff excellent , towels , soaps really nice . Parking was really convenient as was check in check out . Continental breakfast was adequate but not great. The hotel is older and there were scrapes in the sink and the dining area was small and plain with old tables and chairs . The bathroom had a heater with a temperature control knob on the wall which was nice and there was plenty of hot water . WiFi wasn’t good . ”
