“Can’t rave enough about the accommodations at Stella’s Hideaway! Everything was well stocked, clean and comfortable beds. The views were great, the rocks were even better! The location was perfect for checking out mine tailings and heading up to copper harbor. Calumet has a really tasty coffee shop and cute stores. We stayed for 4 nights and found lots of agates and even some lake worn copper to add to our ever growing rock collection. Sifted through mine tailings and found some greenstone……

Plenty of beds, a kitchen with everything, an outdoor gas firepit, 3 tvs, and an indoor hot sauna were just some of the featues. A group would love this space, although there is just one (nice) bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again! Close to Houghton or Torch Lake / Hubbelll (7 miles) if you are taking the seaplane to Isle Royale.”

“First, the property manager is terrific. He communicates as much as you need before your arrival and is assessible for any issues during your stay. In our case, we had a loud group move into the "B" unit, which is above. They entered at 1:00 AM and kept us awake until 4:30 when they finally stopped. The property manager addressed this the next day and the noise issue was resolved. However, if these units were built with reasonable sound isolation between them it would be fine. “Beautiful property outside of Houghton with lovely outdoor seating to enjoy nature. House was very clean and well equipped. You are a bit out of town. The listing says Atlantic Mine, but it seems more like Liminga area so plan to drive 15 minutes to restaurants and groceries. The exception was Schmidt's Corner which is 2 miles away and good for dinner and drinks. Overall enjoyable stay.”
