“The house was in need of a good dusting and kitchen cleaning when we arrived. Also, the stovetop was broken; so we had to do all our cooking on 2 hot plates. The upstairs queen bedroom did not have a curtain on the big window on the door to the porch. Basement bedrooms had a stuffy smell. On the plus side, the rooms were spacious with drawers and closets. Property management always responded quickly. (They did offer to send a cleaning crew out, but we declined.) The river access in the back yard……

“This is one of the most wonderful places we have ever had the privilege to enjoy. We came together for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration - 8 adults and 9 children ranging in ages from 12 to 15 months - and we had everything we could possibly need to enjoy each other. The Spring River, which joins the Deschutes down river, was shallow and slow moving though deep enough for even the 5 and 6 year olds to safely use the kayaks that were stacked by the dock. “Stayed in Hillside cabin for a long weekend with my partner. This was the most beautiful cabin we've ever stayed in! The pics don't do it justice. It was exactly the restful weekend we were hoping for. Well-appointed, extremely clean and the hosts had even prepped a fire in the fireplace for us... we just had to light it on arrival. They really have thought of everything. The whole property is gorgeous. It's so secluded, and quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the original cabin still on site……

“Great value here. The price is so low for what amenities you get. The Hot tub was great after long days of hiking. Definitely looking forward to planning another stay in the future to take advantage of the kayak and canoes available to use.”
