“There was a mix up with rental being double booked. Instead of cabin we reserved 15 months earlier, we were housed in a house apparently used as part of venue operations. It certainly was not what we expected but we made the best of it! It was clean and bed was comfortable so we chose to overlook the minor hiccups. Most importantly it was a great eclipse viewing site and the actual eclipse experience was extraordinary! All staff members were very kind and welcoming.”

Great places like these are hard to find and when we do find them it seems harder and harder to find open dates. You will absolutely love this property but be aware of the washer and dryer situation. “We had a wonderful stay at the red cedar cabin! The cabin was clean and furnished with everything we needed for a family of 5 on vacation. The owners were SO kind and helpful to us. They fulfilled every request we had, gave us excellent recommendations for the area and were a delight to visit with as well. Our kids made good use of the pool and we all enjoyed watching and petting the horses and friendly dogs on the property. The wrap around porch was a favorite sitting spot to enjoy the peace...
