“This place is a hidden gem. It feels like you're in a forest and staying in a cabin. In the morning, you can hear the birds, and at night, you can hear the frogs and owls. They have an animal sanctuary you can tour, which is great because it teaches the kids the history of the animals and how they were rescued. The staff is super friendly and attentive. “The ranch is a little hard to find on Google Maps as we were driving over in the dark after viewing wildflowers in Anza Borrego- it's actually opposite the Warner Springs Ranch gas station. We were saved by an alert and super helpful security guard who spotted us! The cottage is small and cozy, with two heaters in case it gets cold. Basic amenities were provided. It was a good place for us to get a rest and sleep before heading back up to the Bay Area the next day.”

The house, the amenities that the homeowner provided, the location, the quality of everything at the house including the top notch customer service from the owner and his brother from the time I booked until now they are literally in a category of their own with how amazing they are. “We were visiting for a wedding and enjoyed our stay. The home is close to wineries and old town. Plenty of room to spread out and beautiful pool. The owner accommodated an early check-in so that a baby traveling with us could nap. Be aware, as another reviewer mentioned, the cleaning people show up before check-out time, which was a little annoying. But overall it was a great place to stay!”
