“We had a fantastic time, sally and simon are friendly hosts, the location is great and check in was easy! Our dog cub got to play with the resident dogs and chickens, alongside free roam of a secure garden he has just as fun a holiday as we did! ”

“The setting was beautiful as was the lodge for the most part, only complaints are the pull out bed in the living room and would of been nice if the hosts warmed the cabin up before arrival”

“A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.”

“We absolutely adored this property as an escape from our normal lives and being able to get some peace and quiet. The facilities were incredible as well as the surrounding area, checking in and out could not have been any easier and the owners could not of been any nicer. We wish we didn't have to leave, we will defiantly be returning here in the future. Thank you very much!!”
