“Lovely stay in a lovely lodge. Everything as described, clean and tidy and really helpful information given by Helen about stay and local area if you have never visited before. Within walking distance of a local pub and onsite facilities also but kitchen very well equipped. Comfy, home away from home after long walks in beautiful surroundings. Lodge is very pet friendly but as visitors without animals, you could tell it had been cleaned well and was perfect for us.”

“I read the reviews and they were generally accurate. The property was well equipped and was comfortable and in a great location. It wasn't as clean as I'd have liked it to be. I guess there's a fair amount to clean before the next people arrive. So likely not enough time to get in all the nooks and crannies. One major disappointment was the decking area. It is covered in cobwebs, spiders and birds muck. Too many over hanging shrubs. And generally needs a good tidy up. However the shade was very……

“It's not that apparent from the map on the website that the property is close to the Old Sherborne road. Although it is shielded by bushes the road is unrestricted and noisy during the day and evening up to about 10pm. This reduces the enjoyment of the patio and cabin generally. You also need to drive when you go out as there is no footpath to nearby Charminster, unless you want to take your chances walking by the side of the busy Sherborne road.The cabin itself is cosy and set in nice……

“I was away for work and my fiancees nan had passed away the day before my travel so she joined me for a few days on this trip. The first evening was lovely and sunny and we went and watched the sunset and had tea out, when returning to the cabin we found the other cabins were now hosting guests. We had a nice evening and went to sleep, we were then woken at 5am by the most horrific argument we had ever heard that went on for a full 90 minutes between the crack heads that had booked the other two……
