“We love this place! We go every year! It is so calm and and serene. It's awesome to have the boat ramp. We love the fact that it's fenced in...our dog has the best time running and playing in the yard. Wonderful place!”

Our kids were mesmerized by the boats passing by, and we had an incredible time as a family. Despite the rain during our trip, we still managed to relax and enjoy quality time together. “Stunning, spacious property in a great location. We were in town for a reunion and the house was perfect. Very nicely updated and way more room than expected. Close enough to downtown to walk or make the short drive. Host was clear with communication and check-in and check0out were a breeze. Highly highly recommend this property for any stay in Natchitoches, especially if you have a decent size group.”

“On the upside - great location; loved the covered boat stall and dock; beds were comfortable; plenty of parking for boat trailer; A/C works! Plenty of towels & cookware. On the downside - the frig was full of food that had been left from previous visitors - like long ago visitors. We thru out everything that had stuff growing on it. The shower head was not adjustable so a bit uncomfortable. This was our second time going and we will definitely go back.”

Definitely would make a day trip there as opposed to a night trip. Great communication from host! If you want to “unplug” and enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place.”

“First, we never intended to stay at this property. The original VRBO we had booked canceled last minute, because of flooding in that area. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, and beyond the normal comforts were available, should we need anything. We travel with all of our own blankets, and even pack laundry soap and dishwasher detergents, but had we needed for anything, the host had seen to every detail. A few nice games were available for the kids, throw blankets were……

“House was as advertised. Fishing was great. We caught over 70 bream. Only one garbage bag was supplied. The dishwasher was broken. The TV in the main bedroom was not working right. These issues would not be particularly important except for the fact that the rate was $275 a night. Otherwise, the location, views and fishing were very nice.”
