“My husband stayed here for a week while repairing our family's home after Hurricane Melissa (3 weeks after the hurricane) and he could not speak more highly of this gem of a guesthouse. Clean and comfortable room, a very comfortable bed, air conditioning, on site restaurant (delicious and cost-effective), reasonable nightly accommodation rates, convenient location for access to taxis and to Unity Hall, and wonderful owners and staff. “Overall the property was mediocre. When we got to the airport we called for transportation, as planned before hand, and there was no response, so we had to rent a driver from the airport. When we got there there was no welcome and the orientation wasn't well coordinated. We found out later by ourselves that they had a whole restaurant that was open to the guests ( we weren't told upon arrival). The rooms are in a beautiful historic house, are spacious, comfortable, very clean and stylish. What makes this place outstanding and wonderful is the host, Joyce who showered us with her hospitality, warmth, conversations, delicious breakfast, numerous tips/recommendations and a goodbye hug.
