"Just passing through town, so only a one night stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful with dining recommendations. Room was ok. It was clean, need minor repair. AC unit was slow to cool and noisy. Breakfast was ok, but both coffee makers were not working! Had to go back to our room to make coffee there. Really needed that coffee!!"

"This place is older, wood building, looks like a large B&B, on the campus of ND, which is gorgeous, but updated and very nice. We stayed in a suite. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets. Nice bath. Lots of storage if you wanted to stay longer. Great hot breakfast buffet. Staffed by students who were very professional. Lots of dining options nearby."

"We arrived really late at night, but front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was large and clean (our young cat was disappointed there wasn’t anything gross she could roll around in/on, but was very pleased with all the shelves and furniture she could perch on). Our only real complaints were that there weren’t enough blankets on the bed and the pillows were very lumpy (but the bed was still really comfortable), and the bathtub didn’t drain well while the shower was running. "

"Hotel was nicely acquainted. Only problem we encountered was getting the handicap bathroom but it worked fine just needed extra towels, which the facility provided. Rooms were clean, fitness area was nice. Pool wasn’t operational when we were there. A hot tub would be a nice addition. "

"It’s a Holiday Inn, so it’ll be better than the rest of the cheaper hotels in the area. This side of town is a little run down, but we didn’t feel terribly unsafe. Sunday morning there was a sketchy homeless guy sitting on the bench outside of the entrance. He screamed at us after I said good morning. After going back into the hotel and having breakfast he disappeared by the time we loaded up and left. "

"We were in town with my son for a wedding at Notre Dame. Property was very convenient for all weekend activities. Would also be a great place to stay if you’re in town for a football game as it’s within walking distance to the stadium. Easy check-in and communication with the owner. "

"We love this house! We found this gem on VRBO my son’s freshman year and booked for a football game. I think we’ve seen it at least once every year since then and just used it for graduation! This is the perfect house for a fun relaxing weekend with a group. It has an awesome yard with a relaxing party layout. Grills, loungers, ect! The yard is huge! This property is also close to the campus. We have walked to games many of times and it saves a ton of headache with parking! Neighborhood is quiet and pretty. Four bedrooms and all spacious and the bathrooms are nice with everything you would need! The decor and layout of this home make it special! All Notre Dame and a fun split level that gives everyone thier space and place to watch all the sports! "

"We had a large group in town for ND graduation and the housing options with accommodations for 10 people felt slim. We are so happy to have found such a cool, festive home in South Bend so close to campus that offered both fun and relaxing vibes for our group ages 4 to 75. The listing photos do make the rooms appear larger than they actually are, but for only a few nights we didn’t mind the close quarters. Allie was helpful and responsive. Thanks for a giving us a “home base” for the long weekend! "
"The location is amazing—a quick walk to campus, baseball, softball, lacrosse, or football fields! A convenience store is walking distance, as are several restaurants and The Linebacker Bar! There is also a really good smoothie shop. The room was recently remodeled and spacious. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay and enjoy the town of South Bend! The beds were SUPER comfy!!! Doug was super responsive and available! We would stay again."

"We came with another family and their kids and the house was a perfect set up to accommodate us. It was brand new, clean, and everything was easy to find. There were lots of beds and bathrooms (with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryers!) so it made it comfortable for everyone. Beds were super comfortable and rooms were spacious. Very quick walk to campus and easy to use security system. Check in / check out process was very smooth and the management company was a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend and hope to rent this again on our next trip. "
