“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed coming back to this home each night after exploring the island. The location private and great for walking to Akaka Falls and the little fruit stand. The house felt spacious and comfortable. It was clear the house was built with care as my husband commented on how well done the construction appeared. “This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly.
Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds.
The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location.

“Rating: 9/10 The condominium was very clean, modern appliances, well stocked and a great location. Very good budget value. Nice pool. Parking lot was a little sketchy looking. The place is close to downtown and the Hilo airport. Almost next door is Wailuku River State Park and close to Lili’oukalani Gardens - they make for scenic runs or hikes.
